Agraharam 74 in the 100 Agraharams Project
Mathur
Another beautiful and well maintained agraharam in our journey to discover the nearly 100 agraharams in Palakkad. Slightly removed from the bustle of the main thoroughfare is Mathur.
Set in a cul-se-sac, the agaharam has three temples. Listen to the slow and measured delivery by Sri Shankaranarayanan of the agraharam. This village reminds me of wide road agraharams like LN Puram near my place.
I am extremely pleased by the enthusiastic participation and involvement of young in the rituals and proceedings. This agraharam is doing great work with its water body by neat preservation of the same.
Once I complete the video documenting of all the agraharams in the district of Palakkad, I wish to create a list of Agraharams which folks should visit for a Agraharam experience and surely Mathur would be on the circuit recommendation.
